Responsibilities:
The Production Manager will be responsible for the efficient operational flow of all audio description projects, from assignment and asset staging through to final delivery and quality control. This role involves leading AD writers coordinatingn team and a dedicated QC team, ensuring seamless project execution, adherence to deadlines, and the highest standards of technical and delivery quality. The Production Manager will work to optimize production workflows and maintain clear communication across departments.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the project coordination team, including project assignment, resource allocation, and task management.
Manage the end-to-end process of asset staging, preparation, and final delivery, ensuring all technical and client specifications are met.
Lead, mentor, and manage the AD writers, Quality Control (QC) team, ensuring thorough inspection of all assets for technical integrity, completeness, and adherence to delivery requirements before release
Emphasize the importance of maintaining strong relationships with both the team and producers, including regular updates and feedback sessions to ensure their needs are met.
Develop, implement, and continuously optimize production workflows and pipelines to enhance efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and streamline operations.
Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively troubleshoot operational issues to ensure the timely and accurate completion of all deliverables.
Collaborate closely with the Audio Manager and other department leads to integrate creative and production workflows, ensuring efficient resource utilization and smooth handoffs.
Maintain clear communication channels with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding project status, timelines, and delivery requirements.
Implement and enforce company security policies related to asset handling, data integrity, and delivery protocols.
Analyze production metrics and identify areas for process improvement.
Prepare and present production reports as required.
Leadership & Management
· Foster a highly organized, efficient, and proactive environment within the coordination and QC teams.
· Provide leadership, guidance, and performance feedback to team members, supporting their professional growth in operational management.
· Exhibit strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple simultaneous projects and priorities.
Qualifications
· Minimum 5+ years of experience in production management, operations, or a similar role within a creative, post-production, or digital media environment.
· Proven experience in leading and managing coordination and/or quality control teams.
· Strong understanding of digital asset management, file formats, delivery specifications, and content workflows.
· Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.
· Proficiency in project management software and relevant operational tools.
· A proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
· Experience with localization processes and international delivery standards is a plus.
