We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Engineering team, and rediscover new ways to add value to our product. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, proactive person willing to learn and grow with us! And you can work remotely from anywhere in the world!
A typical workday might include:
- Developing and executing detailed test plans and test cases for both new features and regression testing;
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for APIs, backend services, and web applications, using frameworks such as Cypress (or similar);
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (development, product management, customer support) to understand requirements and develop effective testing strategies;
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and inconsistencies;
- Providing timely and detailed feedback to the development team to ensure swift resolution of issues;
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies;
- Participating in the design and review of new features, providing input from a quality perspective;
- Conducting performance and security testing to ensure our software meets stringent industry standards.
Indispensable Requirements
- Proficiency in Portuguese and intermediate English skills (reading, writing).
- Proven experience working in QA roles for 5 years or more.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright), with a preference for Cypress.
- Solid experience in database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries.
- Knowledge of problem analysis and resolution methodologies.
Additional Qualifications.
Experience with software quality assurance and testing of web applications and HTTP APIs, including automated testing tools and frameworks.
Prior experience working with non-relational databases (e.g., Elasticsearch).
Previous experience as a QA in systems based on microservices architecture, including tools like RabbitMQ.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
