Role Overview

Housecall Pro is looking for a contract recruiter to support hiring for our engineering team, with a focus on roles based in Brazil. This is a temporary position, expected to last at least 6 months, with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting software engineers and a strong understanding of technical hiring needs.

As a Partner, Talent Acquisition, you are responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to join Housecall Pro. You work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop strategies to fill positions with candidates who not only have the required skills but also fit our company culture. Your role involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from posting job openings to negotiating offers, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all candidates. You play a crucial part in building a strong team that will drive Housecall Pro’s success.

What you do each day:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies
  • Source candidates using various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and assess candidates for cultural and technical fit
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including scheduling interviews, collecting feedback, and extending offers
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline of potential candidates for future hiring needs
  • Coordinate and participate in career fairs, networking events, and other talent acquisition activities
  • Utilize data-driven insights to track recruitment metrics and improve the efficiency of hiring processes
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication and feedback throughout the hiring process
  • Collaborate with the People team to align recruiting efforts with overall workforce planning and diversity initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English and Portuguese
  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment and talent sourcing techniques
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment metrics
    • Greenhouse Strongly Preferred
  • Experience recruiting for technical roles such as software engineers, devops, QA, engineering leaders, etc.

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected compensation for this role begins at $3,400 per month. The specific rate for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
