Job description

About Us:

Fieldguide is establishing a new state of trust for global commerce and capital markets through automating and streamlining the work of assurance and audit practitioners specifically within cybersecurity, privacy, and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance). Put simply, we build software for the people who enable trust between businesses.

We’re based in San Francisco, CA, but built as a remote-first company that enables you to do your best work from anywhere. We’re backed by top investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, 8VC, Y Combinator, Floodgate, Elad Gil, Justin Kan, Qasar Younis, Eric Ries, and more.

We value diversity — in backgrounds and in experiences. We need people from all backgrounds and walks of life to help build the future of audit and advisory. Fieldguide’s team is inclusive, driven, humble and supportive. We are deliberate and self-reflective about the kind of team and culture that we are building, seeking teammates that are not only strong in their own aptitudes but care deeply about supporting each other’s growth.

As an early stage start-up employee, you’ll have the opportunity to build out the future of business trust. We make audit practitioners’ lives easier by eliminating up to 50% of their work and giving them better work-life balance. If you share our values and enthusiasm for building a great culture and product, you will find a home at Fieldguide.

About the Role:

As the RevOps Systems Manager you will own day-to-day administration, optimization, and innovation across our revenue tech stack. This role is critical in supporting our go-to-market teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) by ensuring our systems are running efficiently, securely, and in alignment with our growth strategy.

As a systems owner, you’ll go beyond maintenance—helping architect scalable solutions, improve reporting accuracy, drive automation, and integrate tools that streamline workflows and enhance decision-making. You’ll be a hands-on problem solver who can translate business needs into clean system design and ensure seamless cross-functional alignment .

If you’re excited by building from scratch, optimizing for scale, and playing a key role in the infrastructure behind a fast-growing GTM engine, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Systems & Salesforce Administration

    • Oversee administration, configuration, and optimization of Salesforce and revenue technology systems including HubSpot, Gong, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and Apollo.

    • Manage user profiles, permissions, roles, and ensure robust security settings.

    • Customize and maintain system functionality (fields, page layouts, workflows, automation).

    • Regularly perform system checks, troubleshoot, and implement updates to ensure optimal performance and alignment with evolving business needs.

  • Data Integration & Reporting

    • Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows, dashboards, and reports that provide clear visibility into key revenue metrics.

    • Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across platforms, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Process Optimization & Tool Integration

    • Identify and resolve system inefficiencies through automation and process improvements.

    • Evaluate and integrate new tools effectively into the existing technology stack.

    • Document best practices and ensure consistent adoption across teams through proactive training and responsive support.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Act as a liaison between Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Customer Success, ensuring alignment and effective communication.

    • Translate business requirements into actionable system and process enhancements.

    • Coordinate cross-departmental changes to prevent disruption and ensure seamless integration across functions.

About You:

  • 5–7+ years of experience building and scaling revenue technology systems in high-growth environments

  • Proven ability to architect and implement Salesforce and broader revenue tech infrastructure from the ground up

  • Hands-on expertise in designing, executing, and optimizing best-in-class revenue operations systems

  • Strong proficiency with AI tools and workflow automation to enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, and overall system performance

  • Demonstrated success in managing complex integrations, customizations, and cross-functional user training

  • Clear track record of personally driving operational execution

  • Ability to articulate and document systems and processes implemented from scratch, including business impact and scalability

  • Experience balancing strategic planning with day-to-day execution in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
