The Role:

Medely is hiring an analytically minded individual who can intelligently use data to answer high-impact product and business questions as a Senior Data Analyst. You will work closely with our Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Recruiting teams to create analyses and data stories that help drive and direct our fast-growing business. Our ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is motivated by challenging problems, and is naturally curious.

The Impact You’ll Make:

  • Work closely with teams to provide data-driven insights that will help drive a significant increase in core business KPIs (growth, revenue, engagement)

  • Create compelling internal dashboards to monitor the health of the product and business KPIs (growth, revenue, engagement).

  • Present and articulate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.

  • Deliver ad-hoc analyses and reports to support business needs, investigate, triage, and resolve metrics-based issues without heavy guidance.

  • Review current processes and spot potential opportunities for improvement via reporting or automation.

  • Look for opportunities to automate insights through alerting and anomaly detection.

  • Identify areas short of new data and the refinement of existing data sources.

Who You Are:

  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, statistics, data science, consulting, or other relevant field

  • Strong understanding of databases and business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Metabase etc.)

  • Advanced SQL skills and ability to write well-optimized queries

  • Ability to organize and present complex data to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience solving ambiguous problems using data

  • Ability to analyze data and condense data to tell a persuasive story
