ABOUT THE ROLE:
Splash Financial is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our growing data team. As a Data Analyst, You will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, building robust data models, and helping drive strategic decisions across the business. This is a hands-on, technical role with a strong focus on data modeling, analytics engineering, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our systems are compliant with industry regulations, support real-time analytics, and enable advanced ML-driven decisioning.
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT SPLASH:
- Building and scaling ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Airflow, dbt, or custom orchestrators.
- Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation, transformation, and performance tuning.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and documentation.
- Leverage Snowflake for scalable and efficient data warehousing solutions.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to support business units.
- Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver insights.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPLASH:
- 5+ years of experience as a data analyst, analytics engineer, or similar role.
- Expert-level SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining data models using dbt (data build tool).
- Proficiency with Snowflake (or equivalent cloud data warehouse).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT, and dimensional modeling.
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior analysts as needed.
COMPENSATION:
The base salary range for this role is $140,000 to $190,000 annually, based on market data and internal compensation practices. This role may also be eligible for a bonus component tied to individual and company performance. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as location, experience, and skill level.
