Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team responsible for automating and oversight of our Azure hosting infrastructure, development pipelines, and backend services supporting our enterprise platform suite of products.
Working closely with the Engineering team, the DevOps Engineer will help maintain high availability and performance of our platform.
Technical Skills and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Automation Specialist, SRE, or Build/Release Engineer for a production-level SaaS product.
Required Skills:
- Experience collaborating with product teams in an agile SaaS environment
- Familiarity with Trunk-Based Development and modern release practices
- Experience with feature flagging tools (e.g., LaunchDarkly)
- Understanding of security standards and monitoring processes (SOC 2 or similar)
- Comfortable working in a remote, geographically distributed team
- Scripting skills in TypeScript / JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, and other automation tools
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
This role will focus entirely on the Azure cloud ecosystem, utilizing Azure DevOps and GitHub toolsets. Proficiency in Azure PaaS services and cloud architecture is essential. Stack: Azure hosted, VueJS, NodeJS, NestJS, TypeORM, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, Stripe, Azure AI Foundry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps Pipelines / GitHub Workflows as part of the CI/CD process across environments
- Build, deploy, harden, and maintain Azure infrastructure, including:
- Core resources and services
- Firewalls, virtual networks
- Interfaces with third-party systems (CMS, LMS, ERP)
- Monitor systems to ensure security, availability, and performance
- Proactively ensure capacity and scalability aligned with usage patterns
- Implement cost-monitoring and containment strategies
- Centralized log monitoring via ElasticSearch
- Respond to system alerts and incidents as needed
