Staff4Me is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot to join our talented development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications that cater to our clients’ needs. You will leverage your extensive experience in Java and Spring Boot to lead technical initiatives, mentor junior team members, and contribute to architectural decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement robust and scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
Architect and develop RESTful APIs to support front-end applications and third-party integrations.
Conduct performance analysis and optimization to ensure the applications are efficient and meet performance expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements, ensuring they align with project goals.
Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices and code quality.
Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best development practices.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices while suggesting improvements to enhance development processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Spring Boot.
Deep understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.
Experience with database technologies, both SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
Proficient in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker is a plus.
Strong grasp of version control systems, especially Git.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Proven track record in leading and mentoring development teams.
