The Opportunity

The XR Global Learning & Development team is looking to hire an experienced Senior Manager, Learning & Development focused on the full end-to-end development, delivery and measurement of learning programs at scale for the business. Some examples of employee learning programs include manager development, sales training and compliance.

The ideal candidate must exhibit a broad range of L&D practitioner skills from managing a LMS platform to developing manager curriculum with stakeholders to facilitating occasional workshops. The candidate will need to establish trust and influence with key senior stakeholders in order to design, build and push forward learning initiatives. The L&D Program Manager will utilize a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills that help our globally distributed, hybrid teams operate at their highest and most productive levels. This is a hybrid role based out of NYC with 3 days in the office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own the full end-to-end program execution of business-critical learning & development initiatives, including learning needs analysis, development, implementation, and measurement

  • Create and implement effective learning programs of varying size and complexity in a hybrid work environment; Direct, organize and manage program activities at all levels

  • Build a strategic roadmap and implementation plan for learning & development initiatives tied to organizational strategy & topline business priorities

  • Design and pilot blended learning curriculum for a manager development program across global regions

  • Coach and develop employees to co-facilitate the delivery of learning materials; run Train the Trainer sessions as needed

  • Manage and update learning content for a diverse, global audience utilizing new LMS

  • Drive compliance training and reporting annually, working with legal and compliance teams

  • Partner closely and collaborate with senior stakeholders and leadership on key learning initiatives and/or courses

  • Other duties as assigned

Pursuant to New York City’s Pay Transparency Law the pay range for this position is $140,000 - $155,000; base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required; Advanced degree in instructional design, organizational leadership, industrial psychology or a related preferred

  • 5+ years experience on a learning & development team, working with in-house facilitators, instructional designers, learning vendors, and senior stakeholders

  • 4+ years experience designing a blended learning curriculum, preferably proven experience in the delivery of a global manager development program

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • Strong knowledge of learning methodologies and modalities with experience designing and facilitating for diverse, global populations

  • Industry knowledge of product marketing, sales training preferred

  • Senior stakeholder communication & effective collaboration for interacting with and influencing cross-functional stakeholders and leadership

  • Experience storytelling with data to drive change & learning recommendations

  • Experience working in high-growth environments that require independent time management and task prioritization

  • Coaching certification a plus

  • The Sr. Manager, Learning & Development reports to the VP, People & Culture

  • Onsite or hybrid in our NYC office (66 Hudson Yards)
