About the Role:
We’re searching for a passionate and experienced Manager of Social and Influencer Marketing to lead our efforts in growing our brand on relevant social platforms and leveraging the power of influencers to drive brand awareness, engagement, and ultimately, revenue. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of social media trends, influencer marketing best practices, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience.
As a key leader within the marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated social and influencer marketing strategies that align with our overall business objectives. You will oversee all aspects of social media management, influencer identification and outreach, social and influencer campaign development and execution, and performance analysis. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including content, creative, PR, and product marketing, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and campaign execution. You will lead a small, but amazing team and be expected to help them continue to grow as a coach and mentor.
The base compensation range for this position for candidates in the SF Bay Area is: $120,000 - $150,000. For all other locations, the base compensation range is based on the primary work location of the candidate as our ranges are location specific. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skillset, years of experience, and depth of experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy: Defining objectives, target audiences, platform strategies, content pillars, and engagement tactics across all relevant social media channels.
- Building and managing a robust influencer marketing program: Identifying and vetting potential influencers, negotiating contracts, developing creative briefs, managing campaigns, and tracking performance.
- Overseeing all social media activities: Including content creation and curation, community management, social listening, and reporting.
- Creating and managing social media budgets: Allocating resources effectively across different platforms and campaigns.
- Staying ahead of the curve: Monitoring social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to continuously evolve our social and influencer strategies.
- Analyzing and reporting on performance: Tracking key metrics, generating insights, and optimizing campaigns to achieve maximum impact.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Working closely with content, creative, communications, and product marketing to ensure alignment and maximize campaign effectiveness.
- Building and nurturing relationships: Developing strong relationships with key influencers, social media partners, and internal stakeholders.
What we’re looking for:
- 7+ years of experience in social media and influencer marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful social and influencer campaigns that drive measurable results.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of the influencer marketing landscape, including identification, outreach, and relationship management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance and extract actionable insights.
- Experience managing social media budgets and resources.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
