A fast-growing business within NICE is the NICE Public Safety Line of Business, which develops state of the art solutions that integrate and put into context information from many sources to help emergency control rooms and investigation departments reconstruct and understand the who, what, when, where and why of an incident. This business also provides industry leading cloud solutions for the Criminal Justice market for the acquisition, management and analysis of digital evidence for over 3,000 public safety customers.
Due to increasing demand for our solutions the Product Team is expanding its ability to deliver and maintain customer systems. We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to drive the success of our products by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and execute product strategies. What you will be doing?
- Product Planning: Lead the creation and execution of the product plan, aligning it with the product roadmap, overall business objectives, and market demands.
- Backlog Management: Supervise the creation, prioritization, and refinement of product backlogs to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with cross-functional teams—including development, UX designer, Architects, sales, and customer support—to gather requirements, and communicate product updates effectively.
- Sprint Planning: Collaborate with the development team during sprint planning, ensuring clarity on priorities and features.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the overall product development lifecycle..
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data, analytics, and customer feedback to make informed product decisions and adjustments.
Have you got what it takes?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- Product Management certification is a plus
- Over 8 years of professional experience, including 5+ years as a Technical Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or a similar role
- Comfortable getting into technical discussions with team of software developers and architects
- Familiarity with Integrations, backend solutions (e.g. software running as Windows Services) is an advantage
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) with hands-on experience in Agile product development
- Provide support to Customer Support, Professional Services, Technical Pre-sales teams and Training where required
