BlackStone eIT is looking for a skilled System Administrator to maintain, configure, and ensure the reliable operation of our IT systems and infrastructure. This role is crucial in optimizing our hardware and software environments to support our business operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and administer all aspects of system infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking.
Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and system tools.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and security.
Implement and maintain data backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve user issues and implement new solutions.
Document system configurations and changes to maintain accurate records.
Research and recommend new technologies to improve the infrastructure.
Provide training and support to users on system-related issues and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in system administration or a related role.
Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, services, and hardware.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, MCSE, Linux Professional Institute) are a bonus.
