REQUIRED SERVICE: Telehealth Support VA

REQUESTED EXPERIENCE TIER LEVEL: Junior Level

MIN. HOURS/WEEK: 10 hours

SHIFT TIME ZONE: TO BE ARRANGED

SHIFT HOURS: between 9am to 5pm

SHIFT DAYS: Monday to Friday

We are a growing medical clinic offering both functional medicine and primary care services. Our practice combines traditional and integrative approaches to health and wellness. We value efficient support that helps our team focus on delivering quality patient care. We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and tech-savvy Virtual Assistant to support our front office operations remotely. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare admin tasks and be comfortable using EMR systems and making outbound calls to insurance providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter new patient data into the EMR system (Optimantra)
  • Perform insurance verifications and make calls to insurance companies
  • Assist with administrative office tasks (e.g., prescription coordination, follow-ups)
  • Collaborate with the team via Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Gmail)
  • Follow existing clinic protocols and procedures as shared via Google Drive
  • Learn and adapt to new tools and systems as needed (e.g., RingCentral, Spruce)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience as a healthcare virtual assistant or in a medical administrative role
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (experience with Optimantra a plus)
  • Comfortable making phone calls and handling VoIP systems (e.g., RingCentral, Spruce)
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Tech-savvy and able to follow digital onboarding guides and procedures
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
