Responsibilities
YouTube (Primary Focus):
Edit long-form YouTube videos to be highly engaging, polished, and on-brand
Create eye-catching, high-converting thumbnails that increase click-through rates
Apply SEO best practices to video titles, descriptions, tags, and playlists
Edit and repurpose existing content into YouTube Shorts for maximum reach
Maintain a consistent posting schedule and coordinate uploads
Monitor analytics to track performance and optimize future content
Social Media (Secondary Focus):
- Repurpose video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook
- Schedule and post content across multiple platforms
- Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages (as needed)
- Maintain consistent branding and tone across all channels
Qualifications
Proven experience editing for YouTube with an engaging, high-retention style
Strong skills in creating compelling thumbnails (Photoshop, Canva, or similar)
Understanding of YouTube SEO and algorithm best practices
Proficient in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
Experience with short-form video content creation (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Creative mindset with attention to detail
Experience managing social media accounts is a plus
Bonus Skills (Nice to have)
- Graphic design skills for branding consistency
- Basic motion graphics or animation
- Knowledge of health, wellness, or medical content creation
