As a Financial Analyst in the Trade Finance team, you will be responsible for a region of countries where you will ensure governance over all OTC processes, mitigate risks related to thirdparty distributor sales, oversee revenue recognition, and prepare sales and AR analyses. In this role, you will make a meaningful contribution to the “Control Tower” function that AbbVie Logistics B.V. (VLOG) provides within AbbVie. You will be part of a team of five analysts and report directly to a Controller.

  • Approve price set-up, review/release credit blocks and set-up of credit limit.

  • Risk management: review and present monthly aging reports for your region and follow-up with Affiliates to support cash collection and bad debt reserve calculation.

  • Understand and support Affiliates in the use of trade risk mitigations tools such as letter of credit and bank guarantees.

  • Prepare monthly OTC SOX controls and ensure governance over Customer Logistics Planning’s activities.

  • Understand and provide guidance on financial OTC policies and procedures necessary to maintain financial control and safeguard company assets.

  • Prepare required documentation for internal and external audits.

  • Support commercial affiliates on customer contracts such as distribution agreements.

  • Engage with OTC Global Process Leads to address and collaborate on system and process improvements.

  • Proactively seek efficiency improvements, participate in and lead projects.
