Job Description

Our client, a banking institution in Germany’s financial sector, operates a large estate of physical and virtual workplace endpoints and is seeking external support focused on Windows software packaging, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Intune to support, manage, and optimize endpoint and user environments.

Responsabilities:

  • Software Packaging & Deployment: Package, deploy and maintain applications for Windows and macOS. Use PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) for custom configurations and scripted deployments. Ivanti DSM knowledge is also needed.
  • Workflow & Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full application lifecycle: packaging, testing, controlled rollouts, monitoring, and post-deployment support (2nd/3rd level). Ensure proper validation with application owners and maintain documentation in the central knowledge base.
  • Endpoint & User Operations: Responsible for handling IT support tickets, troubleshooting and enrolling devices in Intune, managing user onboarding/offboarding, cleaning up devices for leavers, and providing clear communication and support to end users.
  • Application, Policy & Deployment Management: Packages, deploys, and tests M365 Apps, Outlook, and other applications, creates and maintains Intune policies and configurations, and ensures stable, compliant deployments across managed devices
  • Reporting, Licensing & Optimization: Creates and resolves Intune and certificate-related reports, manages Microsoft 365 licenses, proposes cost-optimization initiatives, and documents processes through clear technical documentation and KB articles.

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Proven experience in software packaging and deployment in enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in Windows packaging, including PowerShell scripting (PSADT) and Ivanti DSM.
  • Experience managing the full application lifecycle (packaging, testing, deployment, post-deployment support).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (device enrollment, policies, troubleshooting)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 licensing and basic cost optimization
  • Strong user communication and documentation skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; experience working in agile environments.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) and automation tools.
  • Previous experience in financial-banking sector workplace management.
  • German languange
