Job Description
We are looking for a General Accountant to join our finance team and support day-to-day accounting activities with focus on or exposure to German accounting principles (HGB).
Key responsibilities:
- General Ledger Accounting – Perform general ledger accounting activities
- Accounting Documents Processing – Process and review accounting documents (AP/AR, bank statements)
- Closing Activities Support – Support monthly and annual closing processes
- Financial Reporting & Reconciliations – Prepare financial reports and reconciliations
- Cross-functional Collaboration – Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Experience in general accounting
- knowledge of or exposure to German accounting in required
- Experience with ERP systems
- German language skills (B2)
