We offer a metadata platform to help organizations use AI in production. Shirshanka Das and Swaroop Jagadish founded us in 2021 with backing from LinkedIn. We give technical teams a single system for finding, monitoring, and governing their AI and data assets in production.

Our products include DataHub Core, an open-source metadata platform, and DataHub Cloud, a fully-managed SaaS built on Core. DataHub Core’s community has over 13,000 users, and it gets more than 3 million PyPI downloads each month. DataHub Cloud adds AI-powered features and automation for discovery, understanding, quality, and collaborative governance.

Our platform uses an extensible metadata graph, lineage-driven compliance, and an API-first design. We connect to over 80 data sources and are built for enterprise scale, ingesting large amounts of metadata quickly. Our adaptable metadata model lets us fit your organization’s unique data, relationships, ownership, and custom descriptors. Companies like Netflix, Visa, Slack, Deutsche Telekom, Chime, and Foursquare use our solutions.
