Operational Planning Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for an Operational Planning Specialist to support daily purchasing and supply chain operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate order processing, timely deliveries, and optimal stock levels across assigned warehouses. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to keep operations running smoothly from order creation to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and validate domestic, import, and intercompany purchase orders and stock transfer orders
  • Cross-check purchase orders against supplier agreements to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Customer Service, Procurement, Logistics, Accounts Payable, Quality, etc.) and external partners (suppliers, warehouses, logistics providers) to ensure timely deliveries
  • Track shipments and support resolution of delivery issues, complaints, and returns
  • Maintain purchasing records and supporting documentation (invoices, delivery notes, certificates, etc.)
  • Monitor and support performance metrics, including On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery
  • Assist in preparing reports and maintaining up-to-date supplier documentation
  • Follow up on deliveries and ensure optimal stock levels across warehouses
  • Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day operational issues

Your Profile

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or a similar supply chain role
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and analytical mindset
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-player attitude
  • Focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Motivation to learn and develop within a supply chain environment
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Technical Skills

  • Experience with SAP (preferred) or similar ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Work Environment

  • Hybrid working model (office and home office combination)
  • Email-based communication (~85% of daily work), with scheduled calls and meetings as needed
  • Requires a self-driven, well-organized approach to remote collaboration and task management
