We are a climate technology company that develops leak sealing technologies for buildings. Our technologies, HomeSeal Connect and AeroBarrier Connect, inject a fog of sealant particles into pressurized spaces like ducts and building envelopes to seal leaks. Software tracks the process and provides a certificate of completion showing before and after leakage.

Air leakage in HVAC ductwork and building envelopes can lead to high energy bills, greenhouse gas emissions, uneven temperatures, and poor indoor air quality. Our solutions improve energy efficiency, enhance indoor air quality, and help reduce carbon emissions.

Our technology started with research funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in 1993, led by Dr. Mark Modera. This research developed an aerosol-based technology for remotely sealing air ducts from the inside and won the DOE’s “Energy 100” award. In 2010, Dr. Modera co-founded Aeroseal with Amit Gupta to commercialize the technology.

We currently operate in over 35 countries and all 50 U.S. states. We have sealed more than 300,000 homes and 500 million square feet of commercial property. We work with over 1,500 dealers globally.

Our mission is to reduce the world’s carbon emissions by 1 gigaton annually. We aim to deliver comfort, healthy air, and significant energy savings to building owners globally.
