Summary:

The Product Manager Intern will support the Product team during a summer of high-impact initiatives, including Free-to-Play (F2P) mechanics, in-app purchase (IAP) designs, educational game design, modeling outcomes and A/B testing. Intern responsibilities include data-driven analysis, experimentation, and product decision-making that directly influence the child and parent’s user experience.

This internship provides hands-on exposure to the product development lifecycle. Interns will partner closely with Senior Product Managers and cross-functional teams to analyze product performance, support experimentation, and contribute to feature planning and data analysis.

Through this experience, interns will gain practical exposure to product analytics, experimentation design, product strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. Interns will be paired with a Senior Product Manager as their primary mentor and a Product Manager as a secondary mentor, with structured weekly check-ins and clearly defined deliverables to support learning and growth throughout the internship.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct feature and funnel analysis to identify opportunities for product improvements and optimization

• Support A/B test planning and experimentation, including developing hypotheses, reviewing experiment results, and preparing experiment readouts.

• Perform product and competitive analysis to inform product decisions and roadmap planning

• Assist with feature planning, including documenting requirements, drafting specifications, and gathering feedback from stakeholders

• Support product operations and documentation, helping maintain internal product documentation and resources

• Analyze experiment performance and contribute insights to support feature iteration, rollout, or rollback decisions

• Assist with KPI tracking and reporting to support ongoing product monitoring and decision-making

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate or 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate student, pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Product Management, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related discipline

• Must be available at least 25 hours per week for 10 weeks during the summer internship program

• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, with the ability to work in person at our Glendale, CA headquarters a minimum of two days per week

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in using data to inform product decisions

• Familiarity with product experimentation concepts such as A/B testing, hypothesis development, or data analysis

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Interest in product management, product strategy, or digital product development

Total Compensation:

The estimated hourly range for this position is $22.00 to $25.00 USD. Pay may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
