As we continue to scale our investment offering, we are seeking a commercially focused Senior Investment Marketing Manager to help drive the next phase of growth.
This is a high-impact role at the centre of our advised business, shaping how advisers engage with AJ Bell Investments and delivering measurable commercial outcomes. Your focus will be on the Advised channel, alongside strategic ownership of investment positioning across our D2C platform, working in partnership with the D2C marketing team who lead execution.
You will lead the end-to-end development and delivery of integrated investment marketing campaigns aligned to commercial priorities. Combining investment knowledge, behavioural insight and modern marketing techniques, you will create campaigns that advisers notice, understand and act on.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys shaping strategy, testing ideas at pace and using data and insight to continuously improve performance and drive net flows, retention and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of integrated, multi-channel investment campaigns for the AJ Bell Advised business.
- Own the annual investment campaigns calendar, aligning activity to commercial priorities across Sales and Investments.
- Translate objectives such as net flows, retention and investment growth into measurable marketing activity with defined KPIs.
- Present campaign plans, performance insight and optimisation recommendations to senior leadership.
- Own the strategic positioning and messaging of AJ Bell Investments across the D2C platform, working closely with the D2C marketing team who lead execution.
Messaging & Content Development
- Develop clear, compelling value propositions for advisers, paraplanners and clients.
- Apply behavioural insight to simplify complex investment ideas into persuasive, confidence-building narratives.
- Work closely with technical, product, sales and marketing colleagues to ensure messaging is accurate, relevant and commercially focused.
- Translate complex investment concepts into simple, effective stories that drive action.
Integrated Execution
- Brief and manage external agencies and internal design, content and digital teams to deliver high-quality campaign assets.
- Ensure campaigns are joined up across Communications, Digital and Events.
- Maintain full compliance with FCA financial promotions requirements and internal governance standards, working closely with Compliance.
Performance & Optimisation
- Jointly own campaign performance and evaluation with the Senior Marketing Comms Manager.
- Track results against KPIs and optimise campaigns while live.
- Balance creativity with commercial discipline, ensuring measurable contribution to flows, retention and engagement.
- Ensure marketing activity demonstrably supports investment growth across both Advised and D2C businesses.
Collaboration & Insight
- Act as a key marketing partner to Sales and Investments.
- Share insight from adviser behaviour and campaign performance to shape future planning.
- Feed market and campaign insight into wider marketing and proposition teams.
- Stay close to adviser needs, competitor activity and market trends to ensure continued differentiation.
You’ll Bring:
- Strong experience in campaign-led marketing within investments, platforms or financial services.
- A solid understanding of adviser and paraplanner engagement with investment propositions.
- Strong knowledge of multi-asset, MPS or managed portfolio propositions.
- Experience operating within a regulated financial services marketing environment, including FCA financial promotions requirements.
- Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and working cross-functionally.
- An interest in behavioural science and data-led marketing.
- Curiosity about AI and technology-enabled marketing effectiveness.
- A practical mindset focused on measurable commercial impact.

Hybrid working:
