We were founded in 2021 as a software development company. We offer an end-to-end GitOps Platform for Kubernetes and an Enterprise Software Delivery Platform with AI-powered intelligence.

Our platform simplifies Kubernetes operations, improves developer experiences, and helps enterprises with cloud-native strategies, software delivery, reliability, and security. Our platform integrates Argo CD and Kargo, open-source projects created and maintained by our founders.

We provide enterprise-ready deployments that remove the overhead of upgrades, patching, and scaling. This ensures consistent deployments across applications and clusters, with features like secure projects and auditability. Policy-driven promotions, built on Kargo, automatically move code through development, staging, and production environments. These progressions are reliable and auditable. The system uses artifacts and commit metadata for full traceability and includes guardrails to ensure consistent releases across teams and environments.

Akuity Intelligence acts as an AI Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). It monitors workloads, detects issues early, and offers safe remediation. It automatically creates incidents for degraded applications or namespaces. It also combines logs, metrics, and events into a single view for troubleshooting, and can execute runbooks automatically or with approval. We also provide Slack updates and audit trails to keep teams aligned and operations safe.

Our offerings are designed to minimize downtime, maximize uptime, and improve operational efficiency by streamlining deployments, promotions, and incident handling. Our platform integrates with various tools and platforms, including GitHub, GCP, Azure, Datadog, JFrog, OCI, Helm, Kubernetes, Terraform, OpenTofu, Jira, Crossplane, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. We manage over 1 million applications and are SOC2 Type 2 Compliant.

Our mission is to modernize cloud-native application delivery and provide an end-to-end developer experience that “just works.”

We are a team of 11-50 employees. Our founders are Argo co-creators Hong Wang (CEO), Jesse Suen (CTO), and Alexander Matyushentsev (Chief Architect). They were previously founding engineers at Applatix, where they open-sourced the Argo project in 2017. Before founding Akuity, they held key roles at Intuit: Hong Wang managed the Argo team, Jesse Suen was a Principal Software Engineer and technical lead for Argo Workflows, CD, and Rollouts, and Alexander Matyushentsev led the development of Argo CD. Our investors and advisors include notable figures from the open-source and technology sectors, such as Stephen Augustus, Shay Banon, Kelsey Hightower, Mallik Mahalingam, Ram Shriram, and Greg Schott. Our investment firms are Decibel Partners and Lead Edge Capital.
