Founded in 2018, we provide an AI-forward wealth platform and custodial services for independent Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). We help RIAs unify operations for better client outcomes, responsive service, and lower fees.

Our software handles account opening, trading, reporting, billing, and portfolio management. Our platform features automated portfolio management with rebalancing, tax-loss harvesting, and integrated reporting. Advisors can trade fractional shares of stocks and ETFs commission-free and create custom performance reports. It also handles automated and customized billing, as well as instant creation of over 30 account types and digital account transfers (ACATs).

We offer a co-branded Client Portal, High-Yield Cash accounts with FDIC insurance through partner banks, and a self-clearing digital custodial platform. Our Model Marketplace has over 500 investment models integrated with the rebalancer. We also integrate with more than 25 CRM and financial planning tools. Hazel, our AI platform, uses custodial data, CRM, emails, and notes to help advisors with administrative tasks, summarize information, and provide advice.

We serve over 5,500 advisors, making us the third-largest custodian by advisors served since our launch. We estimate we save advisors significant time and software costs annually, helping them deliver additional basis points to their clients. Altruist Financial LLC is regulated by the SEC, FINRA, OCC, and 53 states and territories. Client assets are segregated from our funds. We also offer an Asset Protection Guarantee and excess SIPC through Lloyd’s of London.
