We are a national wholesale broker and managing general agent (MGA) established in 2001. We specialize in providing solutions for challenging commercial insurance accounts, representing over 300 A-rated carriers, both admitted and non-admitted. We write business in all states and operate through more than 20 offices nationwide.

Our product offerings include Commercial Lines (Property, Liability, Hospitality, Contractors) and USG Specialty, which encompasses Admitted Package, Environmental, Garage, Oil & Gas, Transportation, Workers’ Compensation, Personal Lines, and Surety Bonds. We also offer National Programs tailored for specific industries, such as Auto Haulers, Commercial Storage Tanks, and Religious Institutions. The AAU brand has merged into USG as USG Specialty, unifying these offerings.

We use proprietary technology, I3X: Insurance 3 eXchange, to speed up our quote process and policy service. We also offer INS LINK, an interactive online system designed for agents to access online quoting, track account pipelines, clear new business, and manage invoices. Our family of companies includes Brokers Financial Services for premium financing, Into Innovations for marketing and advertising, and Aureate for information technology solutions.

We manage over $333 million in premium and work with more than 300 brokerage markets. Gerald Horton is the founder and Chairman/CEO, with Timothy Horton serving as President since 2012.
