The Configuration Solution Architect serves as a senior technical leader within Avetta’s implementation and product operations organization, responsible for designing scalable, sustainable solution architectures for customer implementations of the Avetta platform.

This role partners closely with Implementation, Customer Success, Globalization, Product Management, and Engineering teams to ensure that customer solutions maximize the use of standard platform capabilities while minimizing unnecessary customization. The Architect translates complex business requirements into scalable configuration models, workflows, integrations, and data structures that support long-term customer success and platform maintainability.

Acting as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and customers, the Configuration Solution Architect provides architectural leadership on complex implementations, establishes solution design standards, and develops reusable frameworks and assets that improve delivery consistency, quality, and scalability across the services organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Solution Architecture & Design Leadership

  • Lead architectural design for complex customer implementations of the Avetta platform, ensuring scalable and sustainable solution configurations.
  • Translate complex client business requirements into technical solution designs including configuration models, workflows, integrations, and data structures.
  • Guide implementation teams in designing solutions that maximize standard platform functionality while minimizing unnecessary customization.
  • Conduct architecture reviews for complex, high-impact, or enterprise customer implementations.
  • Develop and maintain solution architecture standards, best practices, and configuration guidelines across implementation teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert supporting internal teams in resolving complex functional, business, and technical scenarios.

Implementation & Client Engagement

  • Partner with project managers and implementation teams during discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and solution design discussions with customers.
  • Provide expert guidance on platform capabilities, configuration approaches, and implementation of best practices.
  • Help customers understand architectural trade-offs and guide them toward scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Support delivery teams in addressing complex requirements, configuration challenges, and technical decision points during implementation projects.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and enterprise customers throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.

Delivery Enablement & Technical Leadership

  • Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to configuration specialists, QA teams, and implementation consultants.
  • Develop reusable assets including configuration templates, integration patterns, and architectural frameworks.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure adherence to solution architecture standards and delivery best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize configurations and implementation approaches across customer projects.
  • Improve delivery efficiency through repeatable solution patterns and scalable architecture practices.

Platform Strategy & Product Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to ensure new platform capabilities support scalable implementation and configuration models.
  • Partners with Globalization teams to ensure new regional, regulatory, and compliance requirements are designed in a scalable and low-impact manner.
  • Represent implementation and delivery perspectives during product design discussions and feature evaluations.
  • Participate in cross-functional design sessions to influence platform enhancements that improve implementation efficiency.
  • Support readiness and enablement activities for new platform capabilities within the services organization.
  • Maintain awareness of platform updates, technical capabilities, and emerging architectural considerations.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Promote architectural consistency across implementation teams and customer deployments.
  • Contribute to internal documentation including architecture standards, solution patterns, and best practice guides.
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation quality, reduce delivery complexity, and optimize configuration processes.
  • Drive improvements that enhance scalability of the organization as customer demand grows.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years of experience in enterprise software consulting, solution architecture, systems design, or enterprise SaaS implementations.
  • 3 years of experience designing or implementing solutions using enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience designing scalable solutions within configurable SaaS environments.
  • Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solution architecture.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing implementation engagements and technical solution workshops.
  • Understanding of system architecture including user interfaces, data flows, APIs, integrations, and release management cycles.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product management, engineering, implementation, and customer success teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a system-level perspective.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in Agile or iterative product development environments.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and modern data platforms such as MongoDB.
  • Must be flexible to travel up to 10%.

IDEAL EDUCATION & TRAINING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience working with enterprise SaaS platforms or configurable business application ecosystems.
  • Experience designing system integrations and API-based architecture.
  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts and enterprise data architecture practices.
  • Experience supporting global implementations or multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience developing reusable solution frameworks, implementation accelerators, or architectural standards.

The salary range included in this job posting is based on internal and market data and the role’s responsibilities. The final compensation offered to a candidate will be determined by several factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The salary range for this position is $119,000 - $152,000 USD per year, with a potential bonus.

We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), and PTO.
