About IOSH
We are the professional body for health and safety, founded in 1945 as a charity and granted our Royal Charter in 2002. We have 50,000 members in 130 countries. We set professional standards and support our members with resources, events, news, and guidance. Our Chartered Membership is a recognized mark of excellence worldwide.
We offer training and qualifications, including Working Safely, Managing Safely, and Leading Safety. These courses are delivered by 1,400 approved providers and reach over 179,000 people each year. We also provide business consultancy to help organizations manage risk and improve health and safety performance.
We engage in public affairs and lobby governments, influencing policy and raising awareness through campaigns on workplace health and safety issues. Recent campaigns have focused on hidden contract terms, supporting workers in emerging economies, and preventing falls from height.

Team & Culture
We are a team of 51-200 employees. We foster a supportive, flexible, and inclusive workplace that values wellbeing and encourages everyone to be themselves. We support hybrid and remote working models with flexible hours.
We empower our colleagues through Employee Resource Groups where they can share experiences, influence change, and promote belonging and diversity.
