This position is an early career role; ideal candidates will have 6 months-1 year of applicable experience.

The Support Analytics Specialist within our Supplier Support team accelerates our development and delivery of analytics and insights that will support Avetta’s customers. The role involves gathering technical requirements and ensuring insights, reports, and dashboards are created using our existing Data and Analytics platform (powered by Salesforce/PowerBI/Sisense/Snowflake/AWS), and other tools in the Avetta data ecosystem. The individual will work under the guidance of the VP of Customer Support and other department leaders as they complete analysis tasks with the end goal of improving our customer experience and delivery. The Support Analytics Consultant will work across the Support department to identify and develop insights that are repeatable and drive actionable improvements for our customers. They will also work with others across Avetta to ensure our team uses methodology best practices, the latest analytics technologies, and scalable solutions.

This position requires a curious mind that has a passion for data storytelling. This role routinely expands the horizons for the Support department by surfacing new data insights. Further, they help ease the administrative burden of the department by automating reports and processes that otherwise repetitively consume time with manual tasks. This position is well organized and can translate a description of what is designed into an executable delivery plan. The individual brings their enjoyment of working with complex data, SQL-based analysis, and BI report construction, but also of learning new skills and capabilities to the role.

This role requires a hybrid schedule in our Lehi office (3 days in office, 2 days work from home).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work toward quality and creative solutions that solve the Support department’s analytical needs”

  • Document and gain agreement around the scope of work to be performed
  • Use modern collaboration and work management tools that allow communication of expectations, progress on timelines, and status of completion of milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and distribute deliverables (draft, and final versions, of reports, analysis and dashboards) in a high quality, digital manner.
  • Take on tasks that support the team’s ability to automate and improve efficiency of delivery of analytics.

“Contribute to Avetta’s data literacy, and building of Avetta’s data asset”

  • Learn to identify problematic data/data structure and provide input on ideas to correct.
  • Consistently and visibly document such observations in appropriate feedback systems in alignment with engineering, and client management processes.
  • Participate in upskilling the data storytelling within the Support department.

“Develop data visualization and storytelling to advance Avetta’s mission”

  • Begin to develop subject expertise in the data and analytics that support Avetta with respect to Clients, Suppliers, and Workforce.
  • Identify internal parties beyond the Support department who need access to Support data and how to best enable them with the correct dashboards.
  • Participate with other teams to participate in events that promote the Avetta way through the use of data and analytics, and impactful storytelling

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with at least one Business Intelligence / reporting packages (PowerBI, Business Objects etc.)
  • Experience using various systems (SFDC, Connect, Excel, PowerPoint, and other platforms)
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL-based) and some programming (Java, R, Python, or ETL frameworks)
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail
  • Attitude and initiative to proactively support improvement opportunities
  • Confidently handle complex data problems and escalate when need support
  • Passionate about delivering service excellence
  • Problem-solving and building best practices to support internal customers, and support organizational change/stakeholder management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Math, Statistics, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 1 year of experience in a related data or analytics or Business Intelligence role
