BACKBONE Athens is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and helping to improve the overall account management process.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with our client services team in managing client communication, gathering client requirements for new requests and vetting new leads, assisting with project requirements and coordinating deliverables . You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and gain hands-on experience in the digital industry.
Key Responsibilities
Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to clients.
Managing incoming support requests and utilizing planning tools to assign and track support team progress.
Providing client reports regarding support tasks utilization and identifying areas of improvement.
Speaking with existing customers to log new opportunities within the company CRM platform.
Overseeing client account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements.
Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of web development and digital marketing concepts
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
Strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills / Google Workspaces is preferred
Experience with CRM platforms
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Prior experience in account management or client-facing role
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred
