Junior Treasury Analyst | Hybrid – Washington, DC/Baltimore | Interim Contract

Duration: ~3 months (with potential to extend until permanent hire is identified)
Location: Hybrid – Washington DC/Baltimore area (East Coast–based candidates with ability to travel to DC)
Hours: Full time
Compensation: $45–$60/hour
Overview
We are seeking a junior-level Treasury professional (2–5 years of experience) to support a proposal-driven engagement for a client in the Washington DC/Baltimore region. This interim role requires a detail-oriented contributor with foundational treasury operations experience and the ability to work in a hybrid onsite arrangement. Ideal for someone eager to broaden their corporate finance skill set in a fast-moving environment.
What You’ll Do
Support day-to-day treasury activities, including cash positioning, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity monitoring
Assist with bank account administration and related documentation
Prepare treasury reports and schedules to support leadership and proposal requirements
Support treasury reconciliations and assist with variance analysis
Coordinate with internal finance, accounting, and operational stakeholders
Help maintain treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls
Provide ad hoc support for special projects tied to the proposal effort
What We’re Looking For
2–5 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or related functions
Strong understanding of basic treasury processes (cash management, reporting, reconciliations)
Ability to operate in a hybrid work environment and travel to DC as needed
Proficiency with Excel and treasury support tools
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
Nice to Have
Experience supporting proposal environments or fast-paced project teams
Exposure to treasury workstation systems
