Office & Marketing Coordinator

Job Description

Benzinga is a fast-growing financial media and fintech company. Our team operates in a high-output, startup-style environment where priorities shift and execution matters.

This role sits at the center of it.

You’ll keep the office running, support key marketing and licensing initiatives, and make sure critical details don’t get missed. If you take pride in being the person others rely on and can manage multiple priorities without losing control, this will fit you well.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

This is an active, hands-on role that touches multiple areas of the business:

  • Booking travel and managing logistics
  • Coordinating in-office meetings, events, and team activities
  • Managing office supplies and vendor relationships
  • Tracking expenses and maintaining organized documentation
  • Serving as the primary in-office point of contact for employees and contractors

On the marketing and licensing side, you will:

  • Coordinate client and internal events
  • Produce and distribute the licensing newsletter
  • Manage and organize press releases
  • Handle licensing marketing processes and approvals
  • Help licensing reach new audiences through creative ideation and outreach

You’ll work across multiple teams, often simultaneously. Staying organized and keeping things moving forward is essential.

What We’re Looking For

  • Mid-level experience (not entry-level, not senior)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear, professional communication (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across different stakeholders
  • Self-directed and able to operate without constant oversight
  • Reliable, accountable, and takes ownership of outcomes
  • Interest in developing into marketing, events, or operations

  • Need a highly structured or predictable day
  • Have difficulty managing multiple priorities at once
  • Overlook details or require frequent follow-up
  • Prefer constant direction rather than taking initiative
  • Are looking for a slower-paced administrative position

Work Environment

  • Hybrid, based in downtown Detroit
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Fast-paced, high-output environment with shifting priorities
