We provide embeddable finance solutions including instant tokenization, fully paid securities lending, high-yield cash, ²⁴⁄₅ trading, and Shariah-compliant investing. Our developer-first APIs let developers and businesses trade algorithms, build apps, and embed investing into their services. We power over 9 million brokerage accounts across hundreds of fintechs and institutions in more than 40 countries.

We have secured over $320 million in funding from investors including Drive Capital, Portage Ventures, Spark Capital, Tribe Capital, Social Leverage, Derayah Financial, Horizons Ventures, Unbound, SBI Group, Elefund, and Y Combinator. For algorithmic traders, we offer $0 borrow fees on over 5,000 Easy-to-Borrow (ETB) securities, 99.99% system uptime (as of January 2026), and 1.5ms order processing. Features include SDKs in Python, .NET/C#, Go, and Node, backtesting with market data, commission-free stock and options trading via the Trading API, OAuth integration, and margin/short selling with up to 4X intraday and 2X overnight buying power.

Alpaca Securities LLC is a registered US broker-dealer with FINRA and SEC, and a SIPC member. We became fully self-clearing in 2024 as a member of DTCC, FICC, and OCC. Alpaca Crypto LLC is registered as a Money Services Business (MSB) with FinCEN (NMLS # 2160858). AlpacaX Crypto Ltd. and AlpacaX Securities Ltd. are registered with the Securities Commission of the Bahamas, and AlpacaJapan Co., Ltd. has a securities license in Japan. We follow security and privacy standards including ISO 27001:2022 certification, SOC 2 Type II controls, MFA, GDPR, and ICO standards.
