As the Global Safety Manager, you will define what excellent looks like for safety at Bolt. Success in this role means building and embedding a global safety framework that is proactive, standardised, and integrated into how we operate, while still being flexible enough to work across diverse regions and business units.
You will lead a global safety team and work closely with different other stakeholders. Your work will range from setting strategy and global standards to leading high-impact safety initiatives, improving incident reporting systems, and responding to critical safety events when they matter most.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, uses data to drive decisions, and enjoys translating complex safety and risk topics into clear actions that protect people and enable the business to grow responsibly.
Define, implement, and continuously improve Boltβs global Health & Safety strategy. Lead and develop the global safety team, ensuring strong performance management and professional growth. Oversee global safety operations, including incident reporting, investigations, audits, and corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement of safety systems, frameworks, training programs, and standard operational prodecure governance. Lead cross-functional and global safety projects, delivering measurable outcomes under deadlines. Report on safety performance, risks, and initiatives, providing clear, data-driven insights to management.
Proven experience leading Occupational Health & Safety, quality, or risk functions in a global or multi-regional environment. Strong leadership capability with experience managing and developing high-performing teams. Ability to set strategic direction and translate it into scalable, operational processes. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and metrics to drive safety and quality improvements. Proactive, ownership-driven approach with a strong focus on continuous improvement and accountability.
