Job description
Your position as a Communications Manager at Booksy gives you the opportunity to craft and lead the narrative of a global market leader in the beauty industry. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing and executing corporate communication strategies that tell the Booksy story to stakeholders both inside and outside the company.
Working closely with the Director of Communications and our executive leadership, you’ll have the autonomy to build a thought leadership platform for our CEO and other key leaders. You’ll spend your time identifying the trends and storylines that matter, ensuring Booksy isn’t just part of the conversation—but leading it.
Because we are a “human-to-human” business, you’ll partner with our Employer Brand and Social teams to ensure our internal and external storytelling feels authentic and connected, and with our in-country PR leads to ensure global comms and local comms are consistent. You’ll be the bridge between our business success and the compelling stories that inspire our community of entrepreneurs and customers.
To ensure you thrive in this role, you’ll likely have:
- Expertise in corporate media relations and executive communications, with a track record of translating business milestones into compelling narratives.
- The strategic mindset to design comprehensive communication plans that elevate our global vision.
- Extensive experience collaborating with senior leadership and the gravitas to guide stakeholders at all levels.
- A strong network of media contacts (including U.S. business press) and a proven ability to secure high-impact placements in news outlets, podcasts, newsletters, and more.
- A self-starter mentality with a strong ownership mindset, ready to jump on opportunistic trending conversations with speed and excellence.
- Experience building from zero within fast-paced, high-growth scale-ups.
