Summary/Primary Role:
This role supports our advancement in the energy efficiency sector by managing projects from business development handoff through installation, leveraging expertise in lighting technologies, energy conservation measures, and data analysis, while serving as the primary client contact.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

- Manage a portfolio of energy efficiency projects in both lighting and other efficiency measures from project handoff through installation and closeout.
- Coordinate cross‑functionally with design, field operations, accounting, utilities, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
- Serve as the primary client/utility contact for assigned projects, providing clear and timely communication on project status, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Monitor and manage project timelines, utility deadlines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful and on‑time completion.
- Support procurement and implementation activities, including documentation and administrative coordination.
- Understand and adapt to changing utility demands and requirements to support the overall energy efficiency goals and provide the best outcome for the client.
- Analyze project and utility data using Microsoft Excel to support accurate reporting, tracking, and decision‑making.
- Identify, escalate, and help resolve project risks, challenges, or changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in regular project status meetings and provide updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- All other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma required, Degree in Energy Management, Environmental Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in energy efficiency analysis, with a focus on lighting systems.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data export, filtering, analysis, and reporting).
- This position prefers the candidate to have a working knowledge of lighting technologies, energy conservation measures, and the ability to analyze data to identify and implement strategies that enhance energy efficiency.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency regulations and standards in the lighting industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for client consultations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
Expected Hours of Work:
An Employee is expected to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws, while exempt employees may be required to work additional hours as necessary to fulfill their job responsibilities. Overtime requirements will be determined based on the operational needs of the organization.
The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining an employee’s base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity). Brightcore also offers a comprehensive set of benefits to compliment the base salary. The base annual salary range for this position is $75,000-$95,000 and is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel required up to 10% to work/project sites in the greater Northeast Region (but not limited to) of the United States.

Work arrangements are role-dependent, with guidelines established based on position requirements and business needs. This policy is subject to change at Brightcore’s discretion.
