Revamp Engineering, Inc. is an engineering firm founded in 2016 that focuses on utility-scale renewable energy projects. We provide engineering design for solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS). This includes electrical, civil, structural, power systems, and substation design. Our services cover power system studies, site layouts, grid interconnection, and civil land development, from project development to operation.

We have been the Engineer of Record for over 20 GW of large-scale solar and battery energy storage projects and supported over 300 GW in total. Our achievements include 25 GW of utility-scale PV projects issued for construction and more than 300 GW of development designs delivered since 2016. We designed 17% of all US utility-scale solar installed in the past five years, and 15% of all US utility-scale battery capacity installed in 2024. We are licensed in over 40 states and were named a Top 500 design firm by Engineering News-Record (ENR).

Some of our key projects include serving as the prime engineer for seven large-scale solar and solar + storage projects in Hawaii (488 MW PV, 438 MW / 1,551 MWh BESS), over 80 large-scale solar projects in Florida (8.76 GW PV), and the Texas Solar + BESS Project (840 MW PV, 640 MW/1,280 MWh BESS). This project is the United States’ first co-located solar, storage, and data center. We work with developers, EPCs, and utilities.
