SUMMARY:

The Summer Internship is a part-time, paid program that runs from June 9th, 2026 to August 13th, 2026. Start and end dates can be flexible depending on your academic calendar.

The program is located at our Industry City Corporate Headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Summer Interns are expected to work about 20-40 hours per week with some days expected to be in office and other days remote. Each intern will be assigned to a specific department in which they will remain or rotate for the duration of the program.

Corporate Development Intern

Summary: Join the Corporate Development team this summer in driving strategic initiatives and growth opportunities across IP/content, venues, and hospitality, including M&A, partnerships, investments, and new venture incubation. This role offers hands-on exposure to diverse investments, close collaboration with senior leadership, and early responsibility within a lean, entrepreneurial team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support end-to-end project management for strategic initiatives, from planning through execution, while conducting market research, financial modeling, and investment analysis to inform leadership decisions. You’ll assist across the full investment lifecycle—including due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and post-close integration—prepare presentations and materials for senior stakeholders, and stay current on trends across sports, media, entertainment, and hospitality.

WHO YOU ARE: You’re an MBA candidate with 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, or corporate development, ideally within sports, media, or entertainment. You bring strong quantitative and financial modeling skills, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and sharp attention to detail. You thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments—taking ownership, moving with urgency, and balancing independent work with effective collaboration—while leveraging advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Data, Analytics & Insights (DAI) Intern

Summary: The Data, Analytics & Insights (DAI) Intern will support the Scrum Lead and analytics team on hands-on projects including audience segmentation, predictive modeling, Tableau dashboard development, and CRM process builds. This role provides practical experience with real-world analytics initiatives, ad hoc data requests, and professional development support for future analytics roles.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: Youwill support the Data, Analytics & Insights team by working on data science models end to end, contributing to market research, and maintaining CRM processes in Salesforce. The role includes supporting data integration initiatives, ensuring data quality across dashboards and pipelines, and assisting with Agile project management and documentation. You’ll analyze and present insights using Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python/R to inform business decisions and support internal and external stakeholders.

Summary: This role supports the Brooklyn Nets Public Relations team during the 2026 offseason and in preparation for the 2026–27 NBA season. The position offers hands-on exposure to media relations, content development, research, and event support within a fast-paced professional sports environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support the Brooklyn Nets Public Relations team by assisting with media monitoring, daily news briefings, and preparation for the upcoming season. You’ll contribute to the creation of press materials, including player bios, media guides, statistics, and research projects, while helping maintain photo and information archives.

WHO YOU ARE: You’re a college student with a strong interest in sports communications, media relations, or journalism who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You’re a clear writer, curious researcher, and reliable team player who’s eager to gain hands-on experience supporting PR efforts for a professional sports organization.

Operations & Events Intern

Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations & Events Intern to support the planning and execution of basketball and non-basketball events across multiple venues. This internship offers hands-on exposure to event operations and facility management while working within a team guided by BSE’s core values of Integrity, Accountability, Growth Mindset, and Care.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support daily facility operations through walk-throughs, inventory tracking, and off-season projects while helping maintain venues to a world-class standard. The role also includes hands-on involvement in event execution, from planning and documentation, on-site setup & breakdown, and coordination with external partners.

WHO YOU ARE: You’re a reliable, adaptable professional with strong communication and organizational skills who thrives in fast-paced, demanding environments. You build positive working relationships across teams and vendors, bring a strong work ethic, and are flexible to support nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Social MediaIntern

Summary: The Social Media Intern will provide support to the Director of Basketball Social Media and the Content team. During their Summer Internship, they will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the content department, and throughout the Marketing department, to develop content that supports business objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support the development of social media content across Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment properties, including the Nets, Liberty, and Barclays Center. The role also includes tracking content performance, producing reports, and researching social media trends to help inform and evolve channel strategy.

WHO YOU ARE: You’re a self-starting, organized, and adaptable college student with hands-on social media experience and a strong understanding of basketball culture and how audiences engage across platforms. You communicate clearly, consistently pitch creative ideas, thrive in fast-paced environments, and embody our core values while collaborating as a reliable team player.

Creative Intern

Summary: The Creative Intern will provide support to the Art Director and the Design team. During their Summer Internship, they will work on design creation, asset production, and various projects across digital, social, and in-venue creative.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will provide administrative and operational support to the creative team while contributing to the development of social graphics, presentations, and event-related creative assets. The role also includes researching creative trends, managing asset tracking and timelines, and providing on-site support at select events as needed.

WHO YOU ARE: You’re a current student who is a curious, dependable, and creative self-starter who’s familiar with Adobe Creative Suite and eager to learn how ideas move from concept to final execution. You thrive in fast-paced environments, communicate clearly, take feedback well, collaborate naturally with teammates, and embody our core values of Accountability, Growth Mindset, Integrity, and Care.

Ticket Strategy & Analytics Intern

Summary: The Ticket Strategy & Analytics Intern will provide support to the Ticket Strategy & Analytics team / Ticket Operations team. During their Summer Internship, they will support the teams in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting ticket sales data to drive revenue growth, enhance the fan experience, and optimize ticketing operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support the ticketing analytics and operations teams by collecting, analyzing, and reporting on ticket sales, attendance, and fan behavior to help drive data-informed pricing and revenue strategies. This role also includes contributing to dashboards, market research, and game-day ticketing support while identifying insights to improve performance, engagement, and overall fan experience.

WHO YOU ARE: You’re a current undergraduate or graduate student studying analytics, data science, or a related field who brings strong analytical skills, clear communication, and a solutions-oriented mindset to fast-paced work. You demonstrate accountability, integrity, care, and a growth mindset, pairing technical curiosity with strong organization, adaptability, and the confidence to turn data into actionable insights.

Salary

$18/hour
