We provide public services for San Franciscans and residents of the greater Bay Area. We maintain city streets and parks, operate buses and cable cars, provide public health services, and manage public safety through our police and firefighting departments.

Our services include SF311 for information and customer service, wastewater management through the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, and legal advocacy from the City Attorney’s Office. The PermitSF program aims to modernize our permitting processes.
