We offer renovation financing solutions through our network of third-party lenders, mostly credit unions. These include Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOCs), Home Equity Loans (HELOANs), and Renovation Personal Loans.
Our main product, the RenoFi Loan, lets homeowners borrow against their home’s estimated value after renovations are complete, based on an “as completed” appraisal. This can increase their borrowing power, allowing them to borrow up to $750,000 or 90% of the after-renovation value without refinancing their mortgage. Standard HELOCs and HELOANs from our partners range from $10,000 to $750,000, allowing borrowing up to 90% of the current home value. Renovation Personal Loans go up to $75,000 with terms up to 20 years.
Loan eligibility and amounts depend on factors like current home value, estimated after-renovation value, outstanding mortgage, and the homeowner’s financial health. RenoFi Loans are available even for recent home buyers, as most of our lenders have no “seasoning” requirements. We integrate our renovation underwriting technology into lenders’ processes and guide customers through the loan application and financing.
