The Impact of an Associate Solution Advisor at Coupa
As an Inside Solution Advisor for our Customer Growth team, you will be a vital bridge between the Coupa Platform and our existing clients across the US West Coast. Working from Bogotá and aligned with Pacific Time, you will partner with our sales teams to understand customer challenges and present innovative solutions that drive growth. You will use your communication skills and the magic of AI to help our customers maximize their profitability, productivity, and efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
- Solution Alignment: Act as a functional expert on the Coupa platform (Source-to-Pay, Expense Management, etc.) to show customers how our capabilities exceed their business needs.
- Growth Process Support: Provide functional guidance throughout the Customer Growth cycle and leading platform demonstrations.
- Collaborative Discovery: Lead discovery sessions to uncover customer requirements and map them directly to Coupa’s innovative functionality.
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a consultant to internal sales teams and US-based customers, offering insights that drive long-term value.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Experience in software solution engineering, solution sales, customer success, or implementation (experience in procurement is a plus).
- A strong ability to learn, configure, and deliver compelling software demos.
- Ability to work in a Pacific Time Zone (PST) aligned schedule to support our West Coast US team, remotely.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into simple, actionable application functionality.
- Fluent English Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English is a must. You should feel comfortable and confident presenting to and engaging with US-based business leaders.
- Consultative Listening: You are an active listener who focuses on understanding a client’s specific “pain points” to propose perfectly tailored solutions.
- Compelling Storytelling: You have a gift for weaving the benefits of Coupa—and the power of AI—into a motivating narrative that resonates with customers.
- Passion for Tech & AI: You have a solid interest in Artificial Intelligence and how AI Agents are revolutionizing the world of procurement and spend management.
- Presentation Charisma: You are a natural at delivering engaging, clear, and persuasive software demonstrations that captivate your audience.
- Procurement Awareness: Knowledge of purchasing or spend management processes is a significant plus, but a willingness to learn and master the “language of procurement” is essential.
