The Business Analyst serves as a key partner in translating business needs into data-driven insights. This role supports multiple teams—including Buying, Finance, E-commerce, and Marketing—through report development, data analysis, and process improvement. The analyst will collaborate across functions to deliver accurate and actionable insights that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.

What you get to do every day:

  • Develop and validate queries, detect data issues, and generate reports to support business teams.
  • Provide financial data support, including invoice reconciliation and demand/shipping performance reporting.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for real-time business performance monitoring.
  • Conduct analyses to support marketing campaigns, customer behavior insights, and loyalty program evaluations.
  • Collaborate with data engineering to enhance datasets, data pipelines, and system integrations.
  • Design and automate reporting processes using Python, SQL, and BI tools.
  • Address cross-functional data requests and deliver on special projects such as vendor performance, SKU analysis, and event sales reporting.
  • Analyze and track email marketing performance and customer acquisition strategies.

What you bring to the role:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports (Looker Studio, QuickSight, Excel).
  • Practical skills in automation and ETL processes, including n8n and AWS Glue.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce operations and analytics platforms, especially GA4 (Google Analytics 4) and cloud data warehouses (BigQuery).
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on data quality, maintainability, and cross-functional collaboration.
