Job Description
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Delivery Manager, Direct & Third-Party Delivery located out of our corporate office in Bloomington, MN. This individual contributor role will support the acceleration of Dairy Queen’ growth in off‑premise channels through both direct digital delivery and marketplace partnerships for US and Canada. The Senior Delivery Manager, Direct & Third‑Party Delivery will lead initiatives that expand reach, optimize guest experience, and increase sales across DQ’s owned and third‑party delivery platforms. This leader will develop data‑driven strategies, coordinate cross‑functionally to improve delivery performance, and ensure consistent brand representation across all digital storefronts.
The ideal candidate combines business strategy, marketing expertise, and partnership management to drive measurable sales impact while enhancing guest satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities Include:
Digital Marketing & Merchandising
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to drive sales growth across owned and third‑party delivery platforms.
- Optimize and manage delivery menu content, photography, promotions, and pricing to maximize guest engagement and order volume.
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing, CRM, and Loyalty teams to integrate delivery offers and partnerships into broader marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with Technology and Operations to align campaigns and menu updates with store and system capabilities
Delivery Growth & Channel Strategy
- Define and execute the roadmap for DQ’s delivery business, balancing growth across direct digital ordering (app, web) and third‑party aggregators.
- Develop performance targets for delivery channel sales, conversion, and profitability.
- Build strong working relationships with third‑party delivery partners (DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.), ensuring operational alignment and brand consistency.
- Partner with Operations and Technology teams to improve delivery efficiency, order accuracy, and system integration
Performance Optimization
- Analyze delivery channel data and monitor key metrics to provide actionable insights that improve sales, profitability, and guest experience.
- Oversee performance tracking, reporting, and insight-sharing across corporate and franchise stakeholders.
- Track and report on delivery campaign results, recommending adjustments to drive continuous improvement.
- Pilot and assess new channel opportunities, delivery features, and promotional tactics using structured test‑and‑learn methodologies
Cross ‑Functional Collaboration & Alignment
- Manage digital relationships with DSP partners, ensuring brand consistency and accurate representation across their marketplaces.
- Coordinate with Retail Technology, Brand Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure consistent delivery menu content and operational execution.
- Support franchisee education and adoption of delivery initiatives, developing training materials and ongoing communications.
- Partner across departments to align business strategies, campaigns, analytics, and customer support initiatives
Vendor Management
- Lead vendor management activities including contract negotiation, renewals, compliance tracking, and ongoing performance management with DSP partners and technology vendors
- Maximize vendor relationships by continually improving processes and identifying opportunities
- Act as a critical point of contact in the vendor relationship. Periodically review platform capabilities and ensure we’re making the most available functionality and maintaining best practices.
- Own day-to-day agency and marketing technology relationships and communication
The US national base salary range for this position is $105,561 - $129,313. This position is also eligible for a bonus. The base salary range displayed reflects the targeted hiring range for positions across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, work location and relevant education or experience.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required or equivalent combination of education and work experience; MBA preferred.
- 6–8 years of experience in eCommerce, delivery management, or digital marketing, ideally in a QSR or retail environment.
- Proven success driving sales growth through digital media and third‑party delivery partnerships.
Skills:
- Advanced analytical skills with experience leveraging channel data to optimize performance.
- Familiarity with aggregator operations, pricing levers, and marketing integration frameworks.
- Excellent cross‑functional communication and partnership management skills

Work Environment
Most positions located out of our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN will work a hybrid work schedule where you will work 3 collaboration days a week. Additional in office time may be required to support team/project needs.
