Salesforce Developer (Service Cloud & Sales Cloud)
Rate: Up to $60/hr | W2 | Remote
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to support the design, development, and enhancement of solutions across Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud environments. This consultant will partner with business stakeholders, sales and service teams, and technical subject matter experts to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions that improve operational efficiency, partner engagement, and platform performance. The role combines hands-on development with configuration, integration, and ongoing platform support, ensuring high-quality technical delivery aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud.
- Configure and customize Salesforce applications to meet evolving business requirements.
- Build custom functionality using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components.
- Create interactive and personalized learning environments within Salesforce Communities to effectively engage partners.
- Develop LWC-based components within Experience Cloud (Communities) to enable course search functionality with dynamic filtering and registration capabilities.
- Implement export functionality allowing course registrations to be downloaded in PDF or other required formats.
- Integrate and display data from multiple external APIs within custom LWC components, including Catalogue Management tools.
- Develop and maintain custom objects, workflows, flows, validation rules, and automation processes.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
- Provide ongoing production support, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct code reviews and support performance tuning and optimization.
- Collaborate with business, sales, and service teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Manage deployments using change sets or CI/CD tools while adhering to development best practices.
- Support Service Cloud functionality including case management, entitlements, knowledge base, omni-channel, and automation.
- Support Sales Cloud features such as lead management, opportunity management, forecasting, and reporting.
- Maintain documentation and ensure high-quality, maintainable deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud.
- Development experience with Apex classes and triggers, Batch Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components.
- Experience working within Salesforce Lightning Experience (and Classic environments).
- Experience building integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rules.
- Experience with deployment tools and version control practices.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize Salesforce applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud) preferred.
