Job overview:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee significant, high-stakes initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate a consistent history of managing complex programs, showcasing resilience, the ability to influence stakeholders, and dedication to delivering outstanding results. This position is essential for driving large-scale migrations, operational changes, and programs shaped by regulatory requirements.

Job responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior stakeholders in investment, operations, compliance, and technology to ensure shared understanding of project objectives and deadlines.

  • Oversee cross-functional teams across multiple locations, as well as BAs, SMEs, and external vendors.

  • Lead workshops and working groups to build consensus and resolve challenges.

  • Direct remediation strategies for projects flagged at amber/red status, utilizing structured recovery approaches and stakeholder alignment techniques.

  • Apply RAG (Red-Amber-Green) status frameworks to track project health and promptly escalate risks.

  • Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, and internal teams for smooth onboarding and operational preparedness.

  • Maintain RAID logs, project schedules, and delivery dashboards to ensure transparency and progress tracking.

  • Uphold adherence to regulatory standards (such as MAS, ASIC, EMIR, MIFID II) and internal governance protocols.

Requirements

Job requirements:

  • 5–8 years of project management experience within the financial services sector, ideally in asset management or fund administration.

  • A proven track record of successfully leading turnaround initiatives.

  • Practical expertise in fund administration setups, middle/back-office migrations, and regulatory reporting projects.

  • Knowledge of buy-side platforms (e.g., BlackRock Aladdin, FactSet) and enterprise-level data structures.

  • Thorough understanding of the trade lifecycle, KYC onboarding, and outsourcing arrangements.

  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.

  • Competency with project management methodologies and tools (Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2).

  • Capacity to perform under pressure and efficiently handle competing priorities.

  • A collaborative approach paired with a proactive attitude towards achieving results.

Expectations regarding hybrid working:β€―As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the clients’ offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients’ policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
