With integrations across all major accounting software and over 11,500 financial sources, we’re proud to be at the forefront of innovation in the accounting space. 🚀
We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in an Australian accounting or bookkeeping practice who enjoys translating real-world workflows into effective technology solutions. As our Accounting Solutions Expert for Australia, you’ll combine deep domain expertise with strong communication skills to support complex sales conversations, shape how Dext is positioned in-market, and elevate the capability of our regional sales teams.

You’ll act as the Australian subject matter expert for the Dext platform, working across pre-sales, implementation design, and sales enablement. Your focus is on helping prospects and customers understand how Dext fits into their practice: mapping workflows, demonstrating value, and ensuring solutions are practical, compliant, and scalable.
Internally, you’ll play a key role in improving demo quality, strengthening product storytelling, and ensuring the sales team can confidently position Dext in a competitive accounting software ecosystem.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and solution consultations to accounting firms and practices
- Translate Australian compliance workflows (BAS/GST, tax, ATO reporting) into effective Dext configurations
- Support mid-market and enterprise opportunities through solution design, scoping, and Proof-of-Concepts
- Contribute to proposals, pitch materials, and implementation planning
- Enable sales teams through training, coaching, and demo best practice frameworks
- Develop reusable demo scripts, templates, and enablement resources
- Act as a Voice of Customer conduit to Product, sharing structured market feedback
- Represent Dext at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements

- Ability to translate business workflows into system configurations
- Confident communicator across both technical and non-technical audiences
Nice-to-haves
- CA ANZ, CPA Australia, or equivalent qualification
- Experience with Dext
- Exposure to mid-market or enterprise accounting firms
