What’s the Role?
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for food, people, and performance? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same?
We’re looking for a strategic thinker, a people-first leader and proven food service professional to join the Dana Hospitality team as a Retail Food Service Director at a vibrant University campus in Mississauga.
What You’ll Do
- Drive operational excellence across multiple units with both branded retail and Dana’s internal brand concepts.
- Build strong client relationships and ensure contract compliance.
- Collaborate with our Culinary Directory and Chef/Operations teams to craft creative, on-brand menus and promotions.
- Champion health, safety, and food handling standards.
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and boost profitability.
- Train, mentor, and grow your team into future leaders.
- Lead new unit openings and construction projects.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies for growth.
- Partner with procurement to optimize inventory and supplier relations.
Qualifications
Who We’re Looking For?
- A Great Attitude!
- 7+ years of leadership experience in food service and hospitality.
- Experience with multi-unit, franchise operations and contract food management.
- Excellent Customer and Client experience skills.
- Solid business acumen and strong team development ability.
- Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- A calm, confident presence in both the kitchen and the boardroom.
- Culinary background Red Seal is an asset.
- ServeSafe and/or FoodSafe certification.
