Job Description
We are seeking a Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales & Solutions Consultant to support our growing sales organization. This role is ideal for someone who can combine strong technical understanding with client-facing communication skills to help prospects understand how DiligenceVault solves complex due diligence and data management challenges.
You will serve as the bridge between Sales, Product, and Customer Success - providing solution design, product expertise, and technical guidance throughout the sales and customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilties:
Pre-Sales & Solution Support
- Partner with Account Executives to support enterprise sales opportunities from discovery to close
- Understand client workflows and translate requirements into tailored platform solutions
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations
- Support the creation of automated AI enabled outreach workflows
Technical & Product Expertise
- Act as the subject matter expert on DiligenceVault’s capabilities, integrations, and configuration
- Answer technical questions related to platform architecture, security, and implementation
- Assist prospects in evaluating the platform through trials or proof-of-concept engagements including the setup and configuration with custom data and reporting, training and requirement validation
- Strong understanding of AI ecosystem and AI implementation at DiligenceVault
Solution Design & Proposal Development
- Create solution documentation, workflows, and implementation recommendations
- Support responses to RFPs, DDQs, and technical questionnaires
- Help design scalable use cases and custom demo environments for allocators, asset managers, and consultants
- Technically enable channel partners to support the company’s products.
Internal Collaboration
- Provide feedback from prospects to Product and Engineering teams
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding post-sale
- Contribute to sales enablement materials and best practices
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Sales/Pre-Sales Engineer is a must.
- Excellent English, oral and written. Other languages are beneficial.
- Demonstrated technical understanding of cloud architecture
- Understanding of investment management technology
- Understanding of the investment management ecosystem and landscape
- Hands-on knowledge of API-related products and technologies.
- Experience with AI enabled platforms and automation workflows
- Previous success in a growth-stage company as an SE.
- Excellent interpersonal qualities.
- Self-starter and willingness to take initiative
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Location: Hybrid with preference for New York or Boston
