Diligent Robotics

We were founded in 2017 by roboticists trained at MIT and Georgia Tech, building on research from the University of Texas at Austin. We develop AI that enables robots to collaborate with and adapt to humans in everyday environments. Our first product, Moxi, is a hospital service robot designed to assist clinical staff with logistical tasks, such as fetching medications, lab samples, and other supplies. Moxi helps staff focus more on direct patient care, improving patient satisfaction, service quality, and safety.

Moxi’s deliveries integrate with clinical programs like Meds-to-Beds. It also helps address staff shortages by streamlining processes, reducing costs, and enabling new revenue opportunities. In 2024, care teams using Moxi saved 284,000 hours. For example, Moxi has delivered over 9,900 lab samples at UTMB Angleton Danbury, returned more than 595 days worth of time to nurses at Mary Washington Healthcare, and saved Shannon Health’s Pharmacy department 6,350 hours.

We use technologies like mobile manipulation, social intelligence, and human-guided learning in live clinical environments. We operate in the Hospitals and Health Care industries.
