About the team

TheClientTraining Content team is committed to delivering best-in-class product education to Diligent clients. We endeavor to provide highly relevant and engaging content that guides clients to product value, supportingclients with product success. We aim to cultivate a client community, where clients collaborate with Diligent experts and each other to find innovative ways to apply platform functionality to overcome organizational governance, risk, and compliance management challenges.

About the role

You are passionate about creating engaging and effective eLearning courses and programs for a high velocity dynamic software company. You are technically adept, you have business acumen, and you can simplify the complex. The role of Instructional Designer at Diligent will be responsible for creating engaging eLearning courses and other learning content (conference sessions, training blogs, webinars) that enable our clients, partners, and staff to effectively use our platform to drive professional success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs.
  • Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions.
  • Employ a variety of mediums (video, engagement activities, scenarios, storytelling, etc.) to design and develop instructional materials that maximize engagement.
  • Analyze client personas to ensurecontent relates to clients’ use cases and workflows.
  • Utilize style guides, best practices, and user feedback to create best-in-classcontentthat provides the best client learning experience.
  • Develop and manage project timelines,milestones, and deliverables to ensure instructional design projects are completed on time.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Maintain existing courses to ensure they are up to date and reflect user feedback.
  • Engage with learners through email, blogs, forums, and user groups.
  • Incorporate the use of AI tools to enhance and speed up content development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote ClientTraining content.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and technology.

What we’re looking for

  • Previous working experience in Instructional Design for 2 years.
  • Experience or education in any of the following fields is preferred: Instructional Design, Topic-Based Authoring, Technical Writing, Computer Science, Education.
  • Familiarity with technologies for course authoring, audio editing, and video production (e.g., Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Familiarity with microlearning content development (e-learning, blogs, job aids, podcasts, infographics) and AI tools.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)administration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working with distributed, cross‑functional teams and a variety of stakeholders.
  • Growth mindset and willingness to learn new tools, processes, and domains quickly.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models.
