Position Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Sales Enablement to join Diligent’s Go-to-Market Readiness (GTMR) team on a maternity leave contract. This role leads our global AE readiness strategy and manages a team of Program Managers who design and deliver the programs that help our sellers perform at their best.
The GTMR team sits at the center of Diligent’s commercial engine. Our purpose is to ensure every seller is prepared, aligned, and equipped with the training, messaging, and tools they need to create pipeline, progress deals, and represent our solutions with confidence. The work is highly collaborative and thrives in person, so we operate together in the office at least three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the AE Readiness Strategy Set the vision, priorities, and operating rhythm for onboarding, everboarding, methodology reinforcement, and continuous AE development across regions.
Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team Manage a group of Program Managers responsible for delivering global enablement programs. Provide coaching, clarity, and direction to keep work aligned and impactful.
Drive Onboarding and Continuous Learning Oversee structured onboarding for new AEs and a monthly everboarding cadence that supports skill growth without taking sellers away from customers for long stretches.
Design and Guide Enablement Programs Shape the programs, playbooks, and resources that strengthen AE performance, from core sales skills and messaging to competitive positioning and objection handling.
Partner Across the GTM Ecosystem Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Sales Ops, and Sales Leadership to ensure strategy and messaging stay aligned from the first conversation to renewal.
Lead Launch Readiness Own the readiness plan for new products, solutions, and campaigns. Make sure AEs have clear guidance and confident talk tracks ahead of every launch.
Reinforce the Diligent Way Work with our Methodology Program Manager to strengthen adoption of Command of the Message, MEDDICC, and Challenger across the AE community.
Measure and Communicate Impact Use data from Salesforce, Gong, Diligent Academy, and Airtable to track readiness trends, identify skill gaps, and report on program effectiveness.
Deliver Updates in Key Forums Share insights and enablement updates during QBRs, manager forums, and regional reviews, ensuring leaders have visibility into what’s working and what needs attention.
Travel to US Hubs Visit our US offices approximately 10% of the time to maintain global alignment and support regional initiatives.
Qualifications:
8+ years in sales enablement, revenue readiness, or a sales related field
Leadership experience managing enablement or training teams
A strong track record building and scaling AE-focused enablement programs
Excellent coaching and facilitation skills
The ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
Experience with sales methodologies such as MEDDICC/MEDDPICC, Challenger, and Command of the Message
Experience with modern sales and enablement tools including Salesforce, Gong, and Outreach
Strong operational skills — structured, organized, and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Confidence reporting on engagement, adoption, and performance metrics
